SESRIC and the Turkish Transplant Foundation will jointly organize a “Media Workshop on Organ Donation and Transplantation” on 16-18 January 2019 in Istanbul, Turkey.

The Workshop will be organized within the framework the OIC Strategic Health Programme of Action 2014-2023, Thematic Area 6: “Information, Research, Education and Advocacy”.

It aims to increase the awareness of the press on organ donation and organ transplantation with the intention to encourage their active participation in public awareness and raising efforts and motivating the authorities to be careful about the organ traffic and trade issues.
